Last year was a huge success, and we look forward to seeing you again as we celebrate "Deutschland im Mittelalter" in Daytona Beach from April 22-24, 2010. We've planned some activites including a grand masquerade ball, filled with princesses and knights in shining armor. We hope to see all attendants decked out in medieval attire, and to help out, we'll be selling medieval items before the ball. We've also planned a mixer at the General Assembly to provide an opportunity for all participants to get to know each other.
In addition to planning fun activites, we also need to promote student safety. This year, a drug and alcohol policy will be signed by all participants and their parents. As at every annual convention, any drug and/or alcohol use is STRICTLY prohibited, and if any use of suspected, both hotel security and the local law enforcement will be notified. Please see attached form to view the drug and alcohol policy. We want all participants to enjoy their weekend and not place themselves in any risky situations.
